Welcome to Easter Sunday

WELCOME TO EASTER SUNDAY AT WESTSIDE! This is always a wonderful day and I am delighted that you have chosen to share it with us. This is the day that we celebrate the fact that Jesus is alive! Of course, we celebrate that every day and every Sunday, but there is something special about celebrating it on Easter. It is my prayer that you will believe the message and receive the Savior!

THIS IS THE LAST SUNDAY we will be meeting in our Worship Center for about three months. Tomorrow morning the remodeling of the Worship Center will begin. So, look around, take some pictures, and reflect on all that God has done here for the last 30 years. We will be back, but it will not look the same! There will be new carpet, new seats, new paint, etc.

NEXT SUNDAY MORNING we will be meeting in the Family Life Center for worship. There will be two identical services at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Since the FLC will not hold as many people as the Worship Center, it will be necessary for as many of you as possible to come to the Early Service at 8 a.m. There will be no childcare for Preschoolers or Children during the Early Service. There will be childcare for Preschoolers and Children’s Worship during the Late Service. We are planning to use the Teachey Chapel for overflow during the Late Service. According to the survey cards we received, there will not be a need for overflow during the Early Service, but there will be a need during the Late Service. Again, if you can attend the Early Service, please do so.

YOUR FAITHFUL GIVING to the ReNew fund is what is making it possible for us to remodel the Worship Center. Thank you for giving above your tithe to make this possible! If you have not been giving to ReNew, let me encourage you to begin giving today. I know you want to have a part in all God is doing at Westside and you will enjoy all of the improvements. When we move back into the Worship Center you will be able to say you had a part.

ENJOY YOUR EASTER SUNDAY and I look forward to seeing you next Sunday!
